Sasamihoshi

*Gasp* *Wheeze* He...he-he...GWEEEEEEEHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I am INSANE!

After lord knows HOW many hours, I finally finished it (instead of, you know, finishing those 5 half-finished TGs I have laying around)! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present...

SASAMIHOSHI!!!

Yes. That's right. A combination of Sasami and Mihoshi.


It all started, actually, awhile ago. I felt like doing a random transformation with popular characters and I was looking at how the Tenchi Muyo manga was drawn, so I decided "Hey! Let's do that!". It took me awhile to decide what combination of characters to use, but I eventually decided on Mihoshi (my favorite) and Sasami since I had my Pretty Sammy mangas laying around near me (Their cover at makes you wanna draw Sasami. Note some of my previous pics.).

Origionally I intended to draw Sasami transforming into Mihoshi, but I decided instead to stop at something of a 75% transformation. As I was trying to figure ou the exact logistics of the fusion I came up with a weird plot idea: It wasn't a fusion per se, rather it was some sort of weird virus (ala "The Virus" fanfic series)! The Mihoshi Virus! Thanks to Mihoshi's usual bumbling in Washu's lab, a virus is spreading throughout the world causing everyone to slowly transform into Mihoshi!

Oh yes. I had an entire freaking manga planned of it...but then I realized my artistic limitations! I couldn't even get the Sasami to Sasamihoshi transformation to work! XD

So that idea sat in limbo for afew months. I had a pic of Sasamihoshi and Mihohki drawn up but no way to really do much but a quick "Poof" change.

I'll probably post them sometime as I'll probably start over if I ever do The Mihoshi Virus.


So today I was playing The Misadventures of Tron Bonne and decided I wanted to try drawing something with those kinda of eyes. I really liked how bright and happy they looked ^_^ So I doodled up afew pics and then I said "Hey! I wanna finish that Sasamihoshi drawing". I opened it back up, looked at it, and said "Let's try that again. This time being alittle less strict on style and just focus on making a cute character".

So, with that, I started a new Sasamihoshi drawing.

As I went on I grew VERY determined to make the drawing look GOOD. No compromise. This thing HAD to work. I utilized guerilla drawing tactics, abusing and duplicating layers, redrawing, tweaking, copying, pasing, it had to be PERFECT!

I even went ahead and tried to draw hands. Real hands. It took me AN HOUR to draw those hands...and they don't even look that good! Why are hands so hard to draw?

After I finally finished though I felt fucking triumphant. I had done it, a pic I can be proud of. Sasamihoshi. At last.


As I drew, I came up with two MORE possible origins for Sasamihoshi. Seeing as there's...what...FIVE different Tenchi universes, I don't think having 3 seperate origins for Sasamihoshi is all that strange.

Origin 2 is a clone. Washu was busy trying to clone Sasami (long story) for her own vaguely insidious purposes when, surprise, Mihoshi fucks something up again and well...you get this!

Origin 3 is the Pretty Sammy origin, wherin Pixie Misa uses her magic to combine Sasami with the most useless person she could find (Mihoshi) in an attempt to weaken Pretty Sammy. Of course, the plan backfires somewhat and the new fused Pretty Samihoshi has new ridiculous and completely nonsensicle bad luck powers. In the end Misa would wind up fusing with a Ryo-Ohki from one of the other Tenchi universes thanks to the aformentioned ridiculous bad luck powers.

Hey. Shut up. All these made sense before I was tired. My word make thinking is no go no more with the sleepy sleeps.


ANYWAYS yeah. Lastly you may wonder about the outfit. Yeah it's sort of a combination of one of Pretty Sammy's many outfits with one of Mihoshi's police uniforms/a bunny suit. There's a back-view in the works.
